Maharani Cave: The Cave with Exotic Stalactites and Stalagmites

Maharani Cave is the cave nearby Lamongan WBL (Wisata Bahari Lamongan) or Tanjung Kodok, East Java Indonesia. This Cave was found by phosphate miners who are supervised by Sunyoto in August 6th, 1992. Then it was launched by the regent of district Lamongan at that time, Muhammad Faried, in March 10th, 1994. This cave was named as Maharani Palace, because of its beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.

The Exoticism of Maharani Cave

During the holiday 2012 for Lebaran Day (Aidil Fitri), my five kids asked to visit wisata WBL and Maharani Cave. Nowadays, Maharani Cave has been managed well including the Maharani Zoo and gem stones collections, instead of the cave itself.
I think this is very effective, because children can find more knowledge about animals and the cave*life at once. Not only that, the management also make a tourisl packages for one ticket, that is Maharani Zoo and Cave and Wisata WBL. So, the visitors can just buy one ticket to visit either Maharani Zoo and Cave and Wisata WBL Lamongan.
Maharani Zoo provides many species of animals such as Zebra, Camel, Tiger, Leopard, Siamang, any kind of birds, albino animals, crocodile, and others. While Maharani Cave provides the experiences in the Cave with its exotic stalactites and stalagmites, then there is gem stone gallery in which provides many awesome stones and history of cave man.

  1. It's kind of the last chance to get on board and make the travel team to Flagstaff. For some kids it will be a big night.
