There is legend about this beautiful princess that related to Prambanan Temple, that is Roro Jonggrang Legend and Raden Bandung Bondowoso. This legend tells about the Raden Bandung Bondowoso's propose to Roro Jonggrang, but Roro Jonggrang rejected him, because Raden Bandung Bondowoso was the son of King Damar Moyo who had killed her father, King Boko.
To reject Raden Bondowoso's propose, Roro Jonggrang asked him to build one hundred statues in one night. Yet, because of Roro Jonggrang's efforts to fail Raden's work, Raden Bandung Bondowoso could not finish his work. It was still 999 statues that could be finished. Therefore, Raden could not marry the princess.
